Rotary Club Empowers Future Leaders Through Interact Club Training

The Rotary Club of Nairobi Muthaiga North recently hosted a dynamic and impactful training session for members of the Interact Club at Githunguri Girls High School. The training, designed to equip young leaders with essential skills in leadership, service, and community engagement, was a resounding success. The event brought together Interact Club members, Rotaract Club members and Rotary mentors, who shared valuable insights on leadership development, teamwork, and Club management. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, participants gained a deeper understanding of Rotary’s core values of service above self and the importance of making a difference in their communities.

The training covered a variety of topics, including club governance, Rotary youth protection regulations, impactful community projects and activities. At the end of the training, the Interactors held elections of their charter president and the board of directors.
The event concluded with a call to action for Interact Club members to apply their newfound knowledge in upcoming service projects. RC Nairobi Muthaiga North reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Interact Club in its mission to develop young leaders dedicated to service and positive change.
