HAPPY NEW ROTARY YEAR!
I am honoured to welcome you to the 2024-25 Rotary Year as the Rotary Club of Nairobi Muthaiga North steps into its 11th year of creating positive impact.
As the warmest club, the Rotary International (RI) theme resonates with the experiences of our members and the people whose lives have been transformed through the projects and initiatives driven by my Club. The experiences can best be described as Magical. I am also deeply honoured to hold office in the Rotary Year that District 9212 marks a mega milestone of celebrating 100 Years of Service in Africa.
During my installation together with the 2024-25 Board of Directors on 29 June 2024, it was clear that I have taken over a Club that is held together by the 108 members, with each playing their significant part. With this assurance, we will continue running the powerful projects that are on-going, as we work with my fellow Club Members to do more as we address the pressing needs in our communities that still glare at us.
Close to my hear is embracing mental health and wellness. We will launch a campaign to address mental health which will be two-fold. First, promote mental wellbeing among members of the Rotary Club of Nairobi Muthaiga North who tirelessly volunteer their time and resources to steer positive impact. Second, and in line with our Club’s mission, the campaign will collaborate with integral partners and experts to support mental health in the communities we serve.
With my passion for information technology and an understanding of its transformative capabilities as a professional in this space, our Club will embrace assistive technology to bridge the gap between status quo and the vision we have for the people we serve.
I am proud to be a member of the warmest club and thrilled to journey with my members for the next 12 months.
